Another accomplishment in climate change science and environmental health by one of EOHSI and CEED’s long-standing members Panos Georgopoulos.

The Fifth National Climate Assessment, the U.S. Government’s preeminent report on climate change impacts, risk, and responses was released by President Biden on November 15, 2023.  The report is mandated by Congress and assesses changes in the climate, its national and regional impacts, and options for reducing present and future risk.

Panos Georgopoulos is one the Rutgers experts who contributed to the report in the air quality chapter of the assessment.
