Master of Public Health Curriculum

Incoming residents who do not have a Master of Public Health (MPH) will enroll in the Rutgers School of Public Health in the Occupational and Environmental Medicine MPH Concentration for Residents. Graduation requires successful completion of the concentration curriculum which includes 43 credits with a GPA of 3.0 or better. MPH students are also required to complete an Applied Practice Experience, Interprofessional Education and Practice (IPE), and Capstone Project.

Trainees who already have a Master’s in Public Health (MPH) or equivalent degree, must take the MPH required concentration courses and electives that are not represented in their previous MPH. These courses may be applied to the Environmental & Occupational Health Certificate (15 credits).
