About the study: This study will summarize how residents of Paulsboro were affected by the contamination of their water supply with perfluorononanoic acid (PFNA).

Principal Investigator: Judith Graber, PhD, MS

Purpose: To learn how the PFNA water contamination affected residents of the Paulsboro community.

Who Participates:  Adults, either current or former residents of Paulsboro, NJ, who had their blood tested for PFCs as part of the settlement with Solvay, Inc .

Study Procedures:

To participate, you will bring your blood results to one of our public meetings. At the meeting, you will be asked to sign a consent form and complete a short questionnaire – about 5 minutes. We will scan your blood results and questionnaire. If you have children less than 18 years of age living in your home, you will also be asked to provide their blood results.

You do NOT need to register ahead of time or make any appointment. The meetings will be held:

Monday November 14th – 1pm to 8 pm at the Independent Oil Workers Hall, 911 Billingsport Rd., Gibbstown, NJ 08027

Tuesday November 15th – 11am to 5pm at the Independent Oil Workers Hall (address above)

Friday November 18th – 11 am to 5pm at the Independent Oil Workers Hall (address above)

Saturday November 19th – 10am to 3pm at the Independent Oil Workers Hall (address above)

Monday November 28th – 11am to 5pm at the Independent Oil Workers Hall (address above)

Tuesday December 13th – 1pm to 8 pm at the Independent Oil Workers Hall (address above)

Compensation:

After you complete the study, you may enter a drawing for a $100 gift car
