Taghrid Asfar, MD, MSPH Scientist Department of Public Health Sciences Miller School of Medicine University of Miami
Dr. Asfar is a tobacco control researcher with long-standing experience in developing smoking cessation interventions and conducting cessation trials. Currently, at the University of Miami, Dr. Asfar is leading a CDC-funded multicenter study to develop, implement, and evaluate the effectiveness of an eye care providers training program in smoking cessation.
