OBJECTIVES

  • Recognize and assess relevant health risks in deploying personnel and how they may affect mission readiness
  • Determine preventive medical needs based on geographic region of deployment
  • Assess risk for illness and injury in the military working environment, use of equipment and weaponry

 

Target Audience:: Environmental and/or occupational medicine practitioners, community health workers, industrial hygienists, researchers, students of air pollution health effects and to others in the field of environmental and occupational safety and health. Occupational Physicians, Nurses, Industrial Hygienists, fellows, residents, medical students and environmental exposure scientists.
