OBJECTIVES

At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:

1.   Understand the source and geographic distribution of arsenic in New Jersey well water

2.   Be familiar with water treatment and monitoring for arsenic contaminated private wells

3.   Recognize the various arsenic species found in human biomonitoring and their sources

4.   Determine appropriate testing protocols for patients referred for arsenic exposure

 

Target Audience: : Environmental and/or occupational medicine practitioners, community health workers, industrial hygienists, researchers, students of air pollution health effects and to others in the field of environmental and occupational safety and health. Occupational Physicians, Nurses, Industrial Hygienists, fellows, residents, medical students and environmental exposure scientists.
