Students examine water pollution issues and the steps individuals and groups can take to protect water quality. Students also learn about the hydrologic cycle and waste water treatment methods.

Down the Drain (22 min.)

As Chris begins to pour some furniture polish down the drain, the sink comes alive. The animated sink explains why certain products pollute the water supply. Chris learns what happens to waste water when it leaves her home.
