All students are required to apply for membership as soon as they begin their studies in the following toxicology societies: Society of Toxicology, Mid-Atlantic Society of Toxicology (the local chapter of SOT), and the American College of Toxicology. Attending the meetings is an important part of the program curriculum, plus students have numerous opportunities to present their research to and interact with government and industry professionals as well as toxicology professors and graduate students from other programs.
