EOHSI at Rutgers Day 2013

EOHSI faculty, staff, students, and young volunteers participated at the EOHSI booth for Rutgers Day on April 27, 2013. Our program was titled The Environment and Your Health.

The organizing committee consisted of faculty advisors Kenneth Reuhl, Paul Lioy, and Stuart Shalat, along with staff members Mitchell Gayer, Linda Everett, Kimi Nakata, Wilson Rodriguez, Maria Crecenzio,   BJ Coram, Sammy Garcia, Erin Caswell, Marta Hernandez, and Clarimel Cepeda. Grad students Yong Zhang and Dwaipayan Mukherjee participated the day of the event and our young volunteers included Julia Nakata-Bataille (daughter of Kimi Nakata), Athena Leavitt (daughter of Linda Everett), and David Shalat (son of Stuart Shalat) with his Argobot Robot Club.

  • PIPER:  The Pre-toddler Inhalable Particulate Environmental Robotic (PIPER) sampler.  PIPER is a fully autonomous robot programmed to mimic the activity patterns of young children
  • Argobot:  A soccer playing robot developed by the Argobot Robotics Club
