STRUCTURE

PURPOSE:

• To conduct research and foster educational and training opportunities by developing and demonstrating the fundamental principles of human contact with environmental and occupational pollutants.
• To participate in interdisciplinary research that couples human analysis with epidemiological studies, medical interventions, and risk characterization.

APPROACH:

• Laboratory based exposure analysis research
• Field bases exposure analysis research
• Joint Ph.D. Program in Exposure Assessment between Rutgers University and UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
• Collaborative research in Toxicology, Epidemiology and Occupational Health.
