OBJECTIVES

1. 1.Assess who can be exposed and potentially harmed in health care facilities.
2. 2.Broadly review potential hazards and harmful exposures that can exist in health care facilities.
3. 3.Detail the effects of selected hazards on health care workers.
4. 4.Explain methods to prevent illnesses, diseases and injuries among health care workers.

Target Audience:: Environmental and/or occupational medicine practitioners, community health workers, industrial hygienists, researchers, students of air pollution health effects and to others in the field of environmental and occupational safety and health. Occupational Physicians, Nurses, Industrial Hygienists, fellows, residents, medical students and environmental exposure scientists.
