Dona Schneider Ph.D., M.P.H.

Dona Schneider is Associate Professor and Director of Undergraduate Programs at the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy at Rutgers University. She holds graduate faculty appointments in the Departments of Geography, Human Dimensions of Environmental Change, Urban Planning and Policy Development, and the UMDNJ School of Public Health. Dr. Schneider is a Fellow of the American College of Epidemiology and a medical geographer by training. She has served as Editor for Middle States Geographer, Associate Editor for American Journal of Public Health, Book Review Editor for Complementary and Alternative Medicine, and Guest Managing Editor for Archives of Environmental Health. She currently sits on the Advisory Board for Transplant Speakers International and serves as Advisory Editor for Social Science and Medicine. Dr. Schneider's publications include more than 70 refereed journal articles and four books on risk factors for childhood and minority cancers and other chronic diseases.
