Expertise: Environmental and Chronic Disease Epidemiology; and Epidemiology of Lead Poisoning.

Dr. Rhoads is a Professor and Associate Dean in the UMDNJ School of Public Health. He is the Chairman of the Network Advisory Committee, National Institute of Child Health and Human Development of NIH, the National Steering Committee, Toxicity of Lead in Children Project of NIEHS, and the Data Monitoring Committee, National Growth and Health Study, National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute of NIH. He is also a member of the Scientific Advisory Council, Hawaii Heptachlor Research and Education Foundation.
